Garth leads the Psychology Honors Thesis Program and is also the Undergraduate Research Advisor. He received his PhD in Psychology from Harvard University. Garth is interested in the real-world fluctuations and interactions of stress and sleep, and how they play a role in resilience or risk for psychopathology. He uses intensive within-individual longitudinal methods to understand the interrelationships of stress and sleep, in particular targeting major life transitions such as freshmen year at college or adolescence.
