#  Former Professor Jerome Bruner Dies at 100

Psychologist [Jerome Bruner](/people/jerome-bruner) passed away peacefully on June 5 at the age of 100. Bruner received a Ph.D. from Harvard in 1941 and served on the faculty of Social Relations from 1945-1970.
