Assistant Professor Sam Gershman has received a Sloan Research Fellowship, from the [Alfred P. Sloan Foundation](https://sloan.org/fellowships/2018-Fellows) in the Neuroscience Category, in recognition of distinguished performance and a unique potential to make substantial contributions to his field. The award is given to “stimulate fundamental research by early-career scientists and scholars of outstanding promise.”
