Schacter to Receive APS 2017 William James Fellow Award

Daniel Schacter has been named to receive the APS 2017 William James Fellow Award. The James Award is the highest honor conferred by APS. It honors distinguished APS Members for a lifetime of significant intellectual contributions to the basic science of psychology. Dr. Ellen Langer has been invited to receive the Liberty Science Center's Genius Award in May 2016.  Awardees in 2015 included SETI ­pioneer Jill Tarter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, and “Father of the Internet” Vint Cerf. Past Genius Awardees were Oliver Sacks, Jane Goodall, Richard Branson, Garry Kasparov, Temple Grandin, Cori Bargmann, Dean Kamen, Sylvia Earle, and Craig Venter.
