Jennifer Kotler, Ph.D.
Jennifer Kotler graduated with a PhD from Harvard's Organismic and Evolutionary Biology department in 2018. She currently works as a postdoctoral fellow with Prof Steven Pinker, and serves as a lecturer in both Harvard’s Psychology Department and the Department of Human Evolutionary Biology. Through her interdisciplinary investigations of genomic imprinting and genetic disorders with Prof David Haig, Jennifer's dissertation research contributed to the growing field of evolutionary medicine. Her integrative approach has fostered both local and international collaborations with psychologists, biologists, physicians, and business faculty. In her postdoctoral work, Jennifer has extended the applications of evolutionary theory to the field of forensic psychology, focusing on risk predictors and individual perceptions of sexual violence.
