Mark's research interests include topics such as personality assessment, post-traumatic stress, psychotherapy process, integration, and outcome, interpersonal relatedness, defense mechanisms, coping, health psychology, social factors that contribute to health literacy/disparities, and contemporary approaches to conceptualizing, diagnosing, and treating mental illness
