Ellen Finch

Ellen Finch is a Ph.D. student in the Clinical Science program at Harvard University. She is a member of the Clinical Research Lab and is advised by Dr. Jill Hooley. Ellen’s research interests broadly include social cognition, personality disorders, and self-injurious thoughts and behaviors. She is currently exploring empathy and pain processing in psychopathology.  Before joining the Clinical Research Lab, Ellen worked at McLean Hospital researching treatments for borderline personality disorder under the mentorship of Drs. Lois Choi-Kain and John Gunderson. She graduated from Williams College in 2016. Ellen is originally from New Hampshire, and enjoys skiing, hiking, and anything else outdoors.
