Xiangyu (Alaric) is a Ph.D. student in the Cognition, Brain and Behavior program under Dr. Randy Buckner. He is motivated to study the neurobiology of cognition and behavior in healthy individuals and patients with neurological or neuropsychiatric disorders using neuroimaging, behavioral and psychological testing, and advanced computational methods. Leveraging knowledge from machine learning and deep learning, he wants to delineate the central mechanisms of human cognition and the underlying pathologies of neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders.
