Please join us Apr 14th (Wed) 2pm-3pm EDT for the second Science: Uncorked event of the semester with Dr. Aylin Caliskan!
Dr. Caliskan is a computer scientist from George Washington University. She studies the impact of machine intelligence on society, especially threats to fairness, privacy and democracy. Her work has shown that semantic representation derived automatically from language corpora contain human-like biases. Join us for a candid conversation about academia, natural language processing, AI ethics and everything else!
This event is part of Harvard's Women in Psychology discussion series, which aims to provide small-group guided question and answer discussions with leading faculty to help reveal unfiltered experiences in science. This event is open to trainees only.
Please RSVP here. All genders are welcome, we look forward to seeing you there!
