Cass Ranno joined Harvard in 2014 and has held administrative positions at Campus Services, HarvardX, and Harvard Library. They believe that smooth administration, organization, and fostering community are the keys to departmental success. Cass holds a bachelor’s degree in literature and creative writing.

Fun Fact: In 2016, I attended literary great Toni Morrison’s Norton Lecture “Narrating the Other,” part of the lecture series The Origin of Others: The Literature of Belonging at the Sanders Theater, and it was a life-changing experience. It remains one of my favorite memories. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, and having spirited debates on nominees for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Feel free to contact Cass for questions related to faculty searches and reviews, research appointments, visa sponsorship, and departmental events.
