Gregory is a Lecturer in Psychology and obtained a JD from UCLA School of Law before coming to Harvard to earn an AM in Social Psychology and Phd in African American Studies. His research interests include person perception and evaluation widely, with a particular focus on group-based and institutional decision making about people (think contexts like admissions and hiring). Many of his questions lie at the intersection of legal doctrine requiring individualized evaluation and the social psychological reality of (implicit) group-based bias.
